About me
Based in Kent, I have an interest in capturing documentary style portraiture. Investigating people and their stories through photography. Recently, I graduated from the University of Creative Arts with a BA in Photography. Over the three year course, I focused on portraiture with several individual projects. In my last university project, I focused on modern-day witchcraft, exploring these interesting characters drawn together by their shared identity. I enjoyed interacting with these people; exploring a lifestyle I had previously not known much about. Over the last few months, I have photographed several family Autumn shoots as well as photographing a proposal and a mala beads photoshoot for a small business called ‘Enchanted Malas’.

  • Enchanted Mala Beads Promotional Photo Shoot
Enchanted Mala Beads Promotional Photo ShootThese images were taken for the launch of small business 'Enchanted Malas' new collection ‘Pentagram’. Each mala bead is named after one of the elements in the Pentagram. This is a 5 pointed star and is a sacred symbol, connecting many religions and spiritualities to the Earth and the elements. During this shoot, I was asked to photograph the five mala beads which represent the elements; Air, Earth, Fire, Water and Ether.
  • The Green Man
The Green ManI have an interest in developing my own personal long term documentary projects. In this series, I have focused on the ritualistic life of modern-day witchcraft. The Green Man is a legendary being, symbolising nature and rebirth, associated with trees and therefore ancient woodland such as the New Forest. Practicing witchcraft in the New Forest, Robert can trace his family back to the Domesday Book.
