Owen Schaefer is a Canadian editor, writer, and poet. Prior to moving to London in 2019, he lived in Hong Kong six years, and Tokyo for fifteen, working as a writer, proofreader, and editor, as well as Arts Editor for Tokyo Weekender Magazine. His fiction and poetry have been published in a number of literary journals and anthologies, and he writes audio scripts for different English-language study publications from ALC Press, in Tokyo. He is currently working toward an MFA at the University of British Columbia.

- "The London Con" — an Audio-Drama from English Journal Magazine, TokyoA sample scene from "The London Con," a 12-month audio-drama which ran in English Journal's "Picturing" section from April 2017 to March 2018. When Glen and his friend Shawn travel to London for the summer to stay with Glen's estranged Uncle Leo, they stumble upon a mystery that they just can't help but stick their noses into.
