+8 years in Product across enterprise + startups. As passionate about people management as I am about cross-functional collaboration to prioritise roadmaps. Relocated to Vancouver after 4 years in London UK, after being offered Tier 2 visa sponsorship by Ticketmaster and Boiler Room. Received Tech Nation's endorsement for a Tier 1 "Exceptional Talent" UK visa in 2019, which enabled me to join ChargedUp, "the Boris Bike of phone charging." Our iOS/Android apps + IoT lets a customer rent a power bank and return it at ~3K stations across our UK network to stay charged on the go.

"The Boris Bike of Phone Charging!" --> https://www.chargedup.green/ Charge your phone on the go: Rent a power bank & return it to ~3K stations across the UK and Amsterdam, found in our iOS / Android apps' map. Reported to the CEO. To launch in Germany with a Jägermeister in-app activation, as well as a 6' touchscreen kiosk in London's Westfield shopping centres December 2019, I hired an in-house team. We rebuilt the apps with a user-centric approach to support our accessible, scalable internationalisation, taking our 2.6 rating to 4.9 in the App Store. Proudly, we partnered with Octopus Energy, and run on 100% renewable energy, as well as provide a daily free hour rental to O2 Priority users.
At Boiler Room, I managed a talented team of 9 developers, UX/UI and designers for all of our on and offline collateral, including motion graphics at events and for our socials. Proudly, we launched a Netflix for the underground, 4:3, leveraging our existing infrastructure and using analytics’ insights to evolve the boilerroom.tv experience. We also built and managed tooling to enable cross-departmental needs, including editorial content, outbound comms post-GDPR and support for B2B commercial brand partnerships.
During my tenure at Ticketmaster, I led the discovery and planning of an upcoming beta initiative to integrate 19 markets, investigating service gaps and tooling alternatives, arriving at a scalable solution for teams behind-the-scenes. From gathering analytics, to SEO insights, to extensive UX research, the team is now finalising data-informed concepts to bring the product vision to life.
In Vancouver, TELUS (Western Canada’s largest telco) has an internal, full-service digital agency run like a start-up, TELUS digital. Growing within it, I departed as the Sr. Product Owner and liaison for marketing, communications and product development for home services. For years, I managed a talented cross-functional Kanban team to create engaging, data-informed, digitally integrated, award-winning experiences. Comprised of UX/UI, Engineers, QA, a Content Strategist and a Data Scientist, our team used a customer-centric, mobile-first, accessible approach for strong digital integration, supporting diverse stakeholders' go-to-market initiatives while protecting our backlog and minimising technical debt.
Business degree with a focus on HR and Entrepreneurship, getting early exposure into product management and the emerging practice of Lean Startup methodology combining collaboration with quick prototyping of digital solutions. I was heavily involved in extracurricular activities, being VP Events for the faculty's student society with +$100K budget across networking and social events' project management, as well as Debate.
In early 2019, Tech Nation endorsed me for an Exceptional Talent visa, both for my professional accomplishments across eCommerce enterprise and startup environments, as well as for my engagement in the digital community. I've strived to focus on diversity and inclusion initiatives, as a visible minority female myself, including mentorship, workshops and hands-on involvement for recruitment end-to-end to remove subconscious bias and improve talent pipelines. This visa enabled me to join the ChargedUp team as their first full-time hire.
Dubbed "a Netflix for the underground." 4:3 leverages boilerroom.tv's existing infrastructure and UX insights, ever-evolving to drive engagement across a breadth of music-related film content from full-length feature films to short docs and music videos.
