  • PaperBots - Augmented Reality Tablet Game
PaperBots - Augmented Reality Tablet GameThis project was self-directed. As I could create my own brief, I was able to work on something I was passionate with while fully stretching the myriad of skills I leant throughout my time at University. During this project, I was most interested in further fleshing out my skills within Autodesk Maya. Going into this project, I set myself some anchors. I wanted my project to be for children and to be a mobile experience. As I was producing an outcome for a younger demographic, I decided that hav

In Deep Ship - Rare & XBOX Game Studios D&AD Submission 2020In Deep Ship is a group submission for the D&AD New Blood Awards 2020: Rare and Microsoft Studios brief. Together, we created a framework and concept for the game, which we brought to life through our different specialisms. The challenge was to create a new co-operative experience, new ways for players to interact on a personal and global level for memorable / shareable moments. Inspired by Elite, PlanetSide, Star Trek and others; we designed a crew adventure/mmo set in a future where mankind ha
  • UK's Hidden Wildlife
UK's Hidden WildlifeThe UK, much like most western developed countries, is covered in brownfield land. These lands are the remains of industrialism and are now a common eye-sore. For most people in the UK, this is all they see; old, grey, ugly looking land which has been ignored by city planners. Because of this, the UK government has begun to push brownfield land as its source for housing. On paper, this sounds great, as over one million homes can be constructed without ever having to damage our greenbelt countrys

Motion Graphics for a Documentary VideoDigVentures
    United KingdomFreelance
As part of DigVentures continuing content strategy, the organisation is implementing a new focus on video productions of varying formats. This is in part to keep their audience connected and engaged during Covid-19, but is also a longer-term goal to improve the quality and increase the quantity of their online offer. I have been tasked with producing motion graphics for one of their documentaries, to help make their videos more engaging for their audience.

    Graphic Communication and IllustrationLoughborough University
     - Loughborough, United Kingdom
The course at Loughborough combined graphic design and illustration in one degree. The flexibility of this degree allowed me to discover my interests while learning new skills that I can utilize within a range of industries. The first year focused on exploring the various fields encompassed under Graphic Design (app and web development, animation, visual identity and branding, illustration, photography, typography and publishing) before later allowing us to specialise. Throughout this time, the University taught us a variety of software, including Autodesk Maya and Adobe Dreamweaver. Learning all these software widened my scope of what I saw as possible to produce during my time at Loughborough. In my final year, the University was especially open in allowing us to explore and further develop any skill which interested us. For me, this was UI/UX as well as furthering my skills within Autodesk Maya.

    Art Foundation DiplomaAndover College
     - Andover, United Kingdom
While studying my Art Foundation Diploma at Andover College, I got introduced to a variety of art subjects which I previously wouldn't have considered. Here, I was able to further develop my illustration skills, all while gaining more confidence in myself. At this point I was still unsure what I wished to specialise in, I enjoyed the variety of subjects taught during Foundation; this was what inspired me to apply for Loughborough University, due to the openness of their course.
