BA GeographyUniversity of Birmingham
Birmingham, United Kingdom
My geography degree has allowed me to explore the world through an academic lens; studying the impact humans have had on the earth, different societies and cultures, poverty and inequality, to name a few areas, and how to demonstrate this all through digital mapping and statistical analysis.
My passions in geography lie in the social and economic fields, in which I have particularly focussed on women's rights. I have studied war-zones, global production and changing feminisms in the UK. This passion is reflected in my dissertation, which considers the way that 'period poverty' is dealt with in Trussell Trust foodbanks across the UK.
