I’m a multi-disciplinary Storyteller with a focus on deepening our understanding of each other and shedding light on stories that are silenced. I'm Founder & CEO of Gaysians, a community partnerships platform for LGBT+ people to access resources for mental health, housing, trans, faith, sexual health and youth support. We've put on events with charity and brand partners. I've consulted for a range of organisations like housing charity AKT to help them better serve the needs of South Asian LGBT+ people. I have campaigned for the successful decriminalisation of homosexuality in India, achieved in 2018 and I've worked with organisations around the world united in working for our rights.
I have been Contributing Editor at GAY TIMES and a columnist for DIVA and have also worked with Guardian, BBC, VICE, Stylist, Refinery29, GQ, Clash, gal-dem, Bustle, The London Standard, Metro, HuffPost and The Sunday Times. I trained in Storytelling at RADA and wrote and toured a one-person show fusing comedy, music and poetry, which included performances at the Roundhouse and Barbican. I am writing a book and my Substack newsletter 'SOUND' is a space for stories that are silenced. My music has been released alongside Sia, Cinematic Orchestra, Meshell Ndegeocello and Mark Ronson.
As a host and speaker I’ve worked with Somerset House, The Oxford Union, Bloomsbury Festival, TEDxLondon, BBC, Meta, WPP, Oxfam, Virgin O2, Deloitte, Labour Party, Levi’s, H&M, Burberry and more. As a reporter, my VICE documentary exposed and shut down a gay marriage scam based in India and has amassed over 2 million views. I'm also on Channel 4's 'Where have all the lesbians gone' and I’ve featured in campaigns for H&M, The Body Shop, Schwarzkopf and Boots Beauty.
Before this most recent decade of work for LGBT+ rights, I spent15 years in creative, tech and production companies, including leading the production of commercials for Sony in London and LA and later as Head of Business/Exec Producer at Pulse Films.

- VICE - The Arranged Gay Marriage ScamI reported on a gay marriage bureau based in India that had launched to worldwide media fanfare, but it soon became apparent that all was not what we'd thought. A 3-month documentary became a year-long investigation with another year of efforts to eventually have the business shut down. The documentary has received 2.2 million views.
