Sadia Rafique, a British Graphic Designer, graduate of Central Saint Martins University of the Arts London (2002), is an established art director, street photographer and illustrator. She has worked as creative director, specialising in art directing fashion shoots and fashion films, branding, apparel graphic design, look book design and illustration. Sadia has also collaborated as an artist with Puma & Lot78 on limited edition sneakers and hand painted premium leather jackets. She runs her own consultancy and art directs at premium denim brand Endrime.Locked Pro Plan feature
Responsible for the Spring / Summer 15 campaign and lookbook with Stephanie Sîan Smith. Responsible for the Autumn / Winter 15 campaign and lookbook with Nick Clements. My responsibilities were Creative Direction, Art Direction, Photoshoot Production and Layout design. Sadia sourced a great team, a great location and managed 20 people on the day of the shoot which ran on time on a very well organised day without any stress.
A highly creative and artisanal consultancy, we offer creative direction, art direction, photoshoot production and cover areas of graphic design and illustration for digital, print and apparel. We create social media marketing campaigns and create social media content for brands and fabric mills. We create look books, sales books from concept, to garment collections, to photoshoots to the finished printed books.
Sadia worked directly with the Creative Director and Senior Knitwear designer on all graphics for FW11, SS12, FW12 and SS13. Additionally COMO Shambala Resort T-shirt graphics under Club21. • Designed and managed all women’s graphics for wovens, sweaters, knits and tees departments. • Seasonal inspiration and trends research trips to London, Paris, New York, Hong Kong, China and Tokyo. • Mood boards based on research were used for concept development, graphic and print sourcing. • Worked with the Hong Kong office for sourcing, development from concept through to production, including development of new washes, prints, graphics and trims. • Created detailed graphic artwork files for factories and advised print techniques. • Providing comments on strike-offs. Present at fit sessions and responsible for final artwork placements on all womens styles containing artworks across the whole line. • Provided leadership and guidance to her assistant. • In Sadia's first season she used her initiative to build a print library for the team of designers and developers. This led to trips to China to meet with print houses to discuss and learn about new garment print processes each season.
