I am an advertising creative from Central Saint Martins. Born and raised in sunny Singapore for over 20 years, I decided to leave and further my education in London. As corny (I do love sweetcorn) as it sounds, I believe that advertising should be used to make the world a better place to live in and that is what I aim to do for every piece of work. I hate anything sour, I do not have a sweet tooth, I will spit out anything too salty and cry when it is too spicy but I will finish a pint of bitter larger in no time. My friends say my taste buds are screwed and I agree to disagree. I spend a lot of time thinking and laughing in my head. I am a fan of puns and witty humour. My friends hate them but I believe it is always a good source of fun and creative inspiration.Locked Pro Plan feature
During the 2 weeks stint, my creative partner and I were thrown into the deep end, where we had 2 days to mock up ideas for YouTube Pre-roll Ads for the Subaru pitch. It was an amazing experience to be a part of it and winning the account. We also came up with ideas for digital banners for Art Fund. Before we left, we were tasked to come up with ideas for a couple of clients for a DOOH competition organised by Ocean Outdoor. Fortunately, we won 2nd prize in the charity category. Clients that I have worked with: Art Fund Avios Byron Burger GAME Subaru

During the 1 week mentorship program, organised by WPP and D&AD, I had the opportunity to be mentored by a creative team from Valenstein & Fatt (Grey London) on a brief set by giffgaff. Out of 10 teams who presented, our team was given an honourable mention for our idea.
After winning a New Blood Yellow Pencil, I was fortunate enough to also be part of a talented bunch of 50 at the 2017 D&AD new blood academy. In partnership with WPP, D&AD New Blood Academy is a 2 weeks exclusive and creative boot camp for New Blood Pencil winners making the transition from education to industry.
Took part in The One Club 2016 London Advertising Bootcamp, working alongside with and competing against creatives from Wieden + Kennedy to pitch a new campaign to Nike.
At Wunderman Singapore, I picked up so much more digital design skills. I was also given many opportunities to handle real life projects and briefs. It was a good experience and I learnt a lot on how a modern day digital advertising agency works. A majority of my contribution at Wunderman was designing the new Pantene websites for Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. I was an intern for 4 months before leaving to pursue my degree at Central Saint Martins. At Pencil, I picked up the fundamentals of design, layouts, grid systems, presentation skills and gained more confidence as I was given many the opportunities to handle real life projects and clients. Central Saint Martins encouraged us to explore and experiment with general graphic design elements in the first year, and then we had to choose a pathway to focus in our second and third yea. I chose the Advertising pathway and I have never looked back.
