#QuarantineinbloomI always sketch and carry a sketchbook with me, whether at an exhibition, lecture, on a day trip or simply out and about. Lockdown has left me furloughed from my full time job, but still actively freelancing regularly with an architecture practice as their marketing consultant. I am, as the days go on, creating a series of drawings called #quarantineinbloom, focused on the plants that I have in my home, along with those that I forage on my daily walks around my local area. any segment magazine issue 01 previewDuring a time where recognition for artists is becoming harder and harder, even when the market is saturated with such talented people, I decided to create a side project in order to give people wider recognition and deserving publicity associated with their fabulous work, a project that included a celebration of the modern art world and all the perceivable delights that come with it. It was also started in support of charity, for those who may be suffering the most at this moment. In the first

Activities and Societies: Co-editor of Outlet Magazine & Contributing Writer Throughout my masters I challenged conventions by focusing on festival architecture and warehouse raves. My essays allowed me to write creatively whilst embedding theory in a careful and considered way. 'Criticism and Experience: 88 Wood Street by Roger Stirk Harbours.' An essay which studied a high technology building in the heart of London, combining relative archive materials such as critical texts and the architectural press. I had the opportunity to have a guided tour around the building, to see aspects that are not open to the public. 'Punk To Afropunk: Identifying assimilation, appropriation and hybridity through forms of cultural expression.' One of favourite essays to research and write, working closely with my tutor, I explored a festival - Afropunk - that I had attended and argued its position within cultural expression. High First Class Dissertation : Precarity. Exploring Warehouses Within their Nocturnal and Diurnal Environments.
