#Quarantineinbloom

I always sketch and carry a sketchbook with me, whether at an exhibition, lecture, on a day trip or simply out and about. Lockdown has left me furloughed from my full time job, but still actively freelancing regularly with an architecture practice as their marketing consultant. I am, as the days go on, creating a series of drawings called #quarantineinbloom, focused on the plants that I have in my home, along with those that I forage on my daily walks around my local area. I have set up an online shop, from which I have been selling prints, as well as sending them out to my friends and family. Lockdown has allowed me to draw more regularly again and improve my sketching style. I hope to exhibit the complete collection of drawings and perhaps sell the originals too at some point.
