  • At Goodhood, my role involved creating everything visual needed for and the physical store. This included: - Art Direction: Creating and directing concepts and shoots for product and features - Design: Designing layouts, use of typography for web and features while keeping a consistent brand message - Email marketing and CRM: building, designing and deploying customer newsletters - Copywriting: For product descriptions, promotional, news posts and features - Shoot production: - Styling: Occasionally styling models and sets - Retouching: Product imagery and shoots - PR: Preparing imagery and press releases to be send out - SEO: Making sure all content was SEO friendly - UI/UX: Ensuring the customer journey was as easy and understandable Software used - AdminRetail: Custom software for dealing with stock and trade - Mailer: Custom built for newsletters - Custom CMS for features, promotions, etc

  • Alongside my business as usual work at, I also worked on their editorial channel Style Insider. My jobs included: - Create and design imagery daily for articles - On occasion photograph and direct shoots - Ensure continuity across the platform - Make relevant promotions to push traffic As a new addition to the site (Style Insider launched in March 2014) I was also involved with the concept and creation. Working with the editorial, IT and marketing departments we made sure their requirements were met. I eventually became the main designer and creatively lead the project.

  • As a digital designer, my job was to keep the site creatively current with trade, editorial and marketing changes. This included: - Home & landing pages: Being the creative lead for weekly changes and design each department’s landing page and the main homepage - Brand pages: Update with seasonal and category changes including campaign or runway visuals - Boutiques: Plan, design and build shopping boutiques including Christmas Hampers, Partywear, Holiday Shops and the Gift Guide. - Style Insider: Previously led design for articles and promotions, including producing and photographing shoots - Various Content Pages: Designing and building pages for events and content (eg. HarrodsLive for The Vogue Festival) - Promotions: Updated onsite promotion including Mega Menus, Product Landing Pages etc as and when and weekly - UI/UX: Ensuring within my control that the customer's journey was easy and understandable - SEO: Making sure all content created was SEO friendly Software used: - Umbraco CMS - Adobe Scene7



Photography For Fashion Advertising

  • Focused on creating photographic work for the Fashion and Advertising industry. - Used digital and film, including Medium and Large Format cameras, Canon 5D MkII and Hasselblad - Working in studios while working with fine lighting including Bowens and Profoto - Setting up and directing shoots with fashion designers, models, stylists, make-up artists and hair stylists - Working on location with teams and equipment - Learnt darkroom techniques, processing and printing - High-end retouching - Setting up exhibitions Taught by Jason Lloyd Evans and Donald Christie
