- Final Major ProjectMy Final Major Project is an exploration into various aspects of control within the military. I looked into the mechanics of discipline through the vessel of drill and commands given to a squad by a leader. I researched into rank, hierarchy and how power can make people lose their self and responsibilities unto someone higher. The reality of the military is that it is a force to protect, yet this force is a cause of loss of life and must be used in a conscientious manner.
- Botanikoko ChocolatesSelf initiated project. My brand concept for “Botanikoko” was to create a figure head which could be instantly recognisable to the company. I chose to use a stylised illustration of the Aztec deity, Quetzalcoatl who was said to be the pioneer of chocolate. The myths say that Quetzalcoatl took the cocoa plant from paradise, descended by travelling on the rays of the Morning Star and brought it down for mankind, in which he taught them how to use it. This was a gift to the Aztecs and was previously guarded by the other gods who reserved it for themselves. This is a connotation of how chocolates are usually given as gifts to loved ones and promotes the act of sharing.
