  • At the heart of our work at EARN is a profound commitment to develop ideas that move brands from like to love. We work with our clients at leadership team level to raise ambitions in this new era of marketing. As a core team of six, we are specialists across all areas of the marketing mix - from strategy all the way through to project delivery. We believe in story-being, not storytelling. In my role at EARN I have operational responsibility for client projects from brief to execution. Using an integrated approach I am able to bring together digital, social, content, and experiential into one cohesive delivered plan for our clients. I am responsible for project scoping, and then allocating the necessary resource and budget, building the team as required with freelancers or agencies/suppliers. Depending on the scale of the project I can be very hands on, or supervising project teams to ensure that all work - from initial research, creative concepts through to logistics and technical - delivers against agreed objectives and surpasses clients' expectations. Flexible and adaptable, I build strong and durable relationships with both colleagues, suppliers and clients alike. Clients include a range of tech, FMCG, and telco's, and budgets range from £100k to £1m+. Projects can be anything from creating content, app building and influencer marketing to sending things up into space!

BBC Earth Senior Event Manager

  • In my role I was responsible for commercial and creative development and delivery of national and international shows, events and experiences from within the BBC Earth portfolio with a focus on events based on the Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, Walking with Dinosaurs, and Deadly 60 brands from the BBC Natural History Unit. Experiences comprised of concerts, exhibitions, arena shows, visitor attractions and licensed content supplied to third party visitor destinations such as theme parks. I managed a small team and led on live commercial projects, which were a mix licensing deals, joint ventures or wholly owned by BBCW. I worked with local markets to prepare the global event strategy for BBC Earth to agree the roll out of events; providing central management, guidance, motivation and overall accountability for execution; My role included developing and managing client relationships as well as those with event partners – licensees/JV partners/sponsors/suppliers, including marketing strategy and delivery. Large scale stakeholder management within BBC Worldwide and BBC Public Service was also a key responsibility.
