About me
Terry is the scientist of the retro cartoon style illustrations. His graphic illustrations designs focuses on making visuals within products and brands be playful and narrative focused. He designs 3 types of products: branding material, music posters and infographics designs. Using his investigation skills, he partners with clients to generate immersive visuals and stories for customers to engage with. Terry is influenced by world cultures and stories to generate immersive campaigns helping businesses to look inviting. He has guided start ups and businesses to using narrative focused tools for their next venture. Exploring and telling the myths during his travels in America was integral for him to start becoming a designer. When he was telling these tales back in 2016, he recognised that people asking for more supplemental material, like documents, was integral for maintaining their attention. By this time, he became a self taught illustrator. Terry was able create to t-shirt designs inspired by American myths to generate discussions. This project helped him to remove his autism as the communication barrier and use these new skills to coach clients to make their name immersive. Some interesting facts about him -Enjoy 1990s anime science fiction -Photographic memory -Into the tattoo culture and murals -Co founded a gaming Studio in Brighton Thanks, Tez, (Terry's Design logo) for introducing to my service. • City Slang Mobile app project
City Slang Mobile app projectThese 2 illustrations represent my concept of an app that gives tourist info on local details on slangs, phrases and other details about the city. Problem: Utilized 2 case studies, Paris and Chicago, to address potential miscommunication between citizens of different countries, cultures or places. Solutions: An app that can help to research on the city beforehand. This can help the user to be aware of terminology when speaking to natives.
  • Digital Age infographic - Personal project
Digital Age infographic - Personal projectThis personal project was about the idea of creating a cast of characters and place them in illustrations used for the web. This project allowed me to experiment with the character traits to get all characters to represent the following themes: tourism, culture, and technology. This idea influenced me to create an infographic to persuade people to get into using user content generated tools.

Illustrator and Pool Of TalentThe Box Studios
    Brighton, United KingdomFreelance
I was contacted by the great team at The Box Studio to have residency for 3 months. The Box Studio is an animation studio who design beautiful videos for brands and big businesses. In exchange for the residency, we agreed to collaborate in crafting a short animated video. We designed a short video sequence showing a London Underground Tube Station. This short clip sets up a fantasy world where this tube station reveals interesting characters, skaters, animals, and strange creatures. All characters and assets were created in Adobe Illustrator and animated by them in After Effects. The strongest aspect of the video is that people can have their own interpretation. We wanted people to be shocked and happy. Storytelling makes people remember you. Now I am happy to be part of the their pool of talent. Achievements and facts -Matt and Graham guided me through the storyboarding process -We were bit too ambitious. There was originally going to be 3 short videos. It was decision to reduce it to 1 video due to time restraints -This started the process of studying frame by frame animation in preparation for future work. I have been creating frame by frame animation for Level 3 Productions -This video has increased Instagram engagement on both of our channels. Instagram users have asked me questions about the small details within the imagery -I recognise the product has done its job when people are willing to expand their knowledge. People have been asking questions on its story and stating their interpretation. That is the quirk in illustrations for brands. Whether it is offensive, shock or charming, the focus should be always be engagement

I went to them when I was at point of starting to loose confidence in my ability to freelancing. The great team offered a mentor that asks difficult questions and provide advice. Achievement -Being committed to my freelance career rather working as a barista. -My mentor provided a fresh perspective that allow to identify that Barista is just a hobby. It would not have beneficial for me in the long term so I decided to keep track on working on my freelance career. -The training and the barista course prompted me to expand my knowledge by subscribing to Skill Share and learn essiental skills like After Effects
