Level 3 was developed by a committee of four autistic, learning disabled, and neurodivergent people in response to the lack of representation in playful culture. With the support of the arts council we were able to develop a fully online three day festival in July 2021 which consisted of games developed by neurodivergent developers, an interactive Mozilla Hubs space and panel sessions with neurodivergent artists and the Level 3 committee. Level 3 will continue developing in the future with the aim of becoming an annual physical festival in Brighton or London, UK.
