About me
British Visual Designer, living and working in London. Unusually obsessed with naked, genderless figures and making them as un-sexy as possible. Open to new job opportunities and collaborations!
Projects
  • Six Degrees of Separation
Six Degrees of SeparationThis project was a university brief during my final year at Bath School of Art & Design, for which I was asked to use the idea that all people in the world are six, or fewer, social connections away from each other.
  • Innocence Slain – Digital Triptych, 2020
Innocence Slain – Digital Triptych, 2020I created these artworks as a digital triptych. I wanted to use previous artworks to inform the ones that followed, including easter eggs and sampling elements already used to place my figures in a universe that is purely Werkstatt Grief.
  • Bauhauswoche Berlin – Collaborative Project w/ Samuel Wike
Bauhauswoche Berlin – Collaborative Project w/ Samuel WikeThe idea for this project was to create kinetic posters for the Bauhauswoche festival in Berlin, which is celebrating the centenary of the establishment of the Bauhaus School of Art & Architecture in 1919. I collaborated with classmate (and the only person I know who also works in Cinema 4D) Samuel Wike. Our goal was to create 7 posters in total, one for each of the key contributors to the School; this includes Lázló Moholy-Nagy, Mies van der Rohe, Oskar Schlemmer, Paul Klee, Josef Albers, Wassi
  • Lady Muck – EP Design
Lady Muck – EP DesignThis project involved creating an image that matches the warped and almost sinister qualities of Lady Muck’s music. Part of a larger branding project, I created this collage in answer to the brief – I used a portrait of the artist and distorted it to a point of discomfort, placing it firmly in the Uncanny Valley. I used a professional photograph taken of the artist (not by me), editing it within Photoshop.

  • Lip Job #032
Lip Job #032This artwork injects a sense of humour into my style, with an abstract mutant figure fresh out of a beauty clinic after it’s 32nd lip job. This was made in Cinema 4D, a 3D modelling and animation programme that I have been using to elevate and develop my way of working into something a bit more refined. It’s a plastic paradise – it’s their world, we’re just living in it.

     - London, United KingdomFreelance
As Polarface's Art Director I was in charge of all things visual for the record label. This involved branding and marketing, as well as the visual aspects of music releases (EP and album artwork). I was the main Graphic Designer while at Polarface, but my role as AD meant that I oversaw the work of commissioned contributors, giving constructive feedback that allowed for a cohesive aesthetic across the board.
