- The CAPE CaseWorking on preventing sensory overload by helping affected people to diverge from reaching overload. Our solution present individual and personal approach that is adaptable to every person’s needs. Neurodiversity is a relative new term that describes different people on the spectrum. Our goal was to help them prevent the critical point of feeling sensory overload by diving into deep research about neurodiversity and talking to people on the spectrum. Through our research, we discovered that peop
- Hyper Island AlumnousHyper Island is an amazng school that produce strong community base between there students. Hyper network is one to be truly appreciated. And there is general desire to reinforce the community, which today sometimes feels weak and fragile the moment students leave Hyper. The majority of us, 70% to be precise, said they waned to something back to Hyper. Whether it is time or effort, helping out new learners, facilitating workshops or teaching - we would feel priviledged to be contacted by Hyper to help out. The team presented 5 diffrent product to Hyper Alumnies Meet-up were brought forward and 5 of students facilitated very sucessful meet ups in Berlin, Amsterdam and Zurich.
- My CELLSBlood donation services find it challenging to attract donors. It’s difficult to attract young donors. As people are increasingly tracking their lives, from steps walked to calories consumed, they are taking greater interest in their health and well-being. Our solution was to provide a blood diagnostics service at blood donation centres. This service would be a way to attract repeat donors – healthy people who are interested in tracking their well-being through blood diagnostics. The donor will be able to choose which blood tests they want to take e.g. Vitamin D, Iron etc. The donor would receive their blood test results through a secure website/app in an easy to understand format along with tailored wellness advice. It will also indicate when it’s important to visit a doctor for further investigations. This will enable people who are healthy to track their wellness indicators over time and see if there are fluctuations and make lifestyle changes before becoming ill, reducing the overall cost to the national health service.
- PAPER spaceLooking into classrooms of the future by creating a pop-up classroom that can be placed in any environment and creating the possibility of having open, connected, engaged learning experiences. Create a space that can be put in any type of classroom and help embrace different learning style, encourage users to use different workspaces that make them more creative and eager to learn. Pop up workspaces with honeycomb structure which can be folded into one big structure and used in unfolded shape as a workspace. Structures/Workspaces can be placed in any space and create a classroom from any kind of space to embrace the creative education of 21st century.
- #SHAPE DunddeAs part of PARKing day project (Change a parking space into a social space for a day) my team decide to use the space as spatial prob to better understand how citizens feel about the changes in their city. The city of Dundee is getting a new V&A museum of design (completed by 2018) and the whole city is going through differnet spatial changes. We wanted people, citizens of Dundee to be apart of this changes by shaping our space with their ideas of how would they shape their city. On the roof of our structure, we placed a map of Dundee and hung ropes from it. We invited people to come along, get a light bulb, write their idea on it and then hang them based on their height from the map roof. At the end of the day, we got a space that was shaped by people of Dundee, full of their ideas of what they want in their city.

Creating meet-ups with Hyper Island Alumni in 3 different cities around Europe
Matilda Sundaker (Alumni Lead, Hyper Island):
I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with this fantastic and very professional team when creating a meet-up kit for Hyper Island alumni. With the purpose of enabling lifelong learning and strengthening the community, this team has in a structured and innovative way designed and delivered alumni meetups across Europe in Summer 2017.
The team is inspiring, communicative and responsible, both as a group and as individuals. As a result Hyper Island now have a self-organised learning experience that HI alumni can download from our site and set up within their local community - enabling our worldwide alumni community to keep learning.
I’d collaborate with this team again - any day of the week.
