Yanjun Chen, Yann, is a freelance illustrator/motion designer based in London. Yann self-published her illustration zines "Nightmare River" and "Shadow Self", which won awards in Communication Arts, 3x3, Hiii Illustration and Creative Quarterly. Yann's work explores Lifestyle, Relationships, and Girls’ emotion.
When not working, Yann enjoys listening to podcasts about Crime Stories and Humanities, loving hidden emotions in poetry and literature, and of course, going for a walk in the park when the sunshine comes out!

Drawing Zaza and Sylvie on holiday in the garden, talking happily about philosophy and poetry scenes, wanting to set a happy scene against a sad one, I recorded in illustration the best moments of that memory, as if time was suspended at that moment.
