- Hey @Theodora Makri! Are they portfolio projects or made for actual clients? If they're for actual clients, all the recruiter and craative decision makers would love to see some details. It would be better, if you highlifght these points:- What was the brief?- What was the ideation on design solution- How you influenced the projects creative process? (Styling for the shoting, choosing the product bottle/box etc. inline with your design solutıon etc)- And of course, client satisfaction or -if possible- insights from the target audience.
- I think your work looks interesting and original but a heads up, your website is a mess on the iPhone. I felt so frustrated that I could hardly see anything!
- Nice folio – confused with the sites thumbnails vs project titles. Felt the thumbnails would direct the user to the project page, rather than a carousel feel is hidden. Which the project titles felt more direct.Echo my first thoughts nice work.
- Hey Theodora, Your work is great and love the overall clean aesthetic.I would agree with @Daisy Conroy below that your work deserves to be shown off to its full potential. That very first image on load should be an impactful one, go full screen and bold, i feel the one you have now is a little small and i'm not really sure if it relates to a project or not.In terms of UX, I think on the homepage you don't need hide the project titles as it allows people to dive straight in, which i am personally a fan of, but when i click on a project, that is when i would personally hide them so that i feel im immersed in that particular project, then at the bottom of each project page, have a nav to the next project.I would also make sure that you don't add any copy to images. On mobile it becomes very difficult to read as the images are responsive, and also its always great for the (Dreaded google) to be able to read the copy. If you also added a little more about the design or the problem you solved that will give people hiring you and insight to how you think before they meet you.Lastly i'd add a link to your email address, people are lazy and won't copy and paste it haha!Hope that helps a little.Keep up the great work :)
- @Daisy Conroy Thank you sooo much for taking the time to review and comment on my portfolio 💕 I really appreciate your kind words and your helpful tips
- Hi there, i think your content is spectacular, however in terms of layout I think you would benefit more with having your project titles hidden in a hamburger menu, side bar, or top of the screen, so viewers can appreciate your work uncluttered. The artistic flare you have in the layout of your work is also incredible, and deserves the entire screen to show off! I did view your work on mobile, so this may be different on a desktop. I hope this is the type of feedback you’re looking for!
