Any recommendations other than Wix to build / host websites? I don't like Wix after giving it some time - not the most easiest.

- I recommend Squarespace as well. They also have an awesome customer service if you run into any issue.
- square space, webflow
- Wordpress is the best platform you can use
- I found Squarespace easy to use :-)
- @Enid W. thanks, thats really helpful
- Hey there!Take a look at this article, it has a list.https://bit.ly/3MF2kJ6
- Squarespace for sure for beginners. Wix is no good
- If you found Wix not the easiest to use I'd possibly suggest something like Squarespace. You mention you also wanna sell some prints too, which Squarespace has ecommerce functionality for.Dead easy to set up. My first portfolio site was hosted with Squarespace. You've got alternatives like Wordpress and Webflow, but they do take some learning to get used to the UI and the way things work.As someone else mentioned there's also Adobe Portfolio that's worth checking out, especially if you already pay for a CC subscription.Good luck!
- I use Adobe Portfolio for my site; been useful as I already pay for adobe suite so means one less subscription, and their templates are nice and easy to use.
- @Cedric Terrell Hi no not heard of that, will hav take a look.Mostly my site will be an online portfolio but may want to sell some prints from it too.thank you
- Not sure what functionality you need, but have you tried Fotmat?
- @Raisha Hussain isn’t that magento?
- I used to use WordPress with Elementor which was quite nice to use, now I just use Adobe Portfolio because I don't need all the features from better platforms
- Learn basic html and css and then try using Bulma. You already know the layout so instead of drag and drop your copy pasting text. And practice little by little making small style edits by hand. You can so much more that way
- @Preé Isaacs fabrik will take a look at that one.
- @Stefania Xytakis (Nia) thanks for your comment - I felt Wix was just restricted to use when designing and add one… but have been look at the two squarespace & Wordpress.Thank you
- I used Squarespace for awhile and it's super easy to use. I recently switched to Wordpress which has more of a learning curve but I like it a lot now. There's tons of Youtube videos on how to use the free version of Wordpress or you can use Wordpress Pro, which does have a yearly fee.The fees are used to meet you halfway, I don't have to worry about updating the software platform myself and setting up the SEO's completely on my own. With the Pro plan, I can reach out to Wordpress Support for help if I need to, which has been really crucial. For me, that's a good balance because the totally free stuff requires you to start from ground zero with everything and it's pretty pricey to pay someone to help with your website.
- WordPress is better for some. I use both but find the presentation better and the app more useful on WordPress. Findwebsites you like and see what programs they are using.
- Fabrik is pretty nice and easy to use.
