- There’s lots of big agencies (like Ogilvy, BBDO, Publicis etc.) that offer internships whether over the summer or as a set contracted role. But I would also look for smaller agencies on a local level as these are usually less competitive and still over good experience. I made my start at a small agency with an internship that led to a full time role so this can be a good springboard. Good luck!
- Also, check out @Craig Oldham's book, Oh Sh*t What Now! if you haven't already - it might help...
- Building on @Michele Pryce's advice, lots of agencies offer internship programmes and placements - check out BBH Barn and Havas as well as Saatchi.
- Have a look on (Saatchi & Saatchi) link https://openhouse.mcsaatchi.london/Have a good day. They into advertising & art. 🙂
- I am keen to be working with you .
- Get paid. Don’t work for free in exchange for experience. They already benefit from the tasks you will carry out.. That’s my main advice. Try and get into ethical agencies. Have morals and stick by them. The world needs abandon the bad brands and agencies that market them.
- Advertising the evil twin of design, it’s an evil industry, very short lived if you’re “Creative”. I say that because you have to have a fast food process to work. And when you don’t win pitches well that door may not open again. Then there is the issue of everyone back stabbing each other for taking credit, whilst the same time willing to point the blame at someone and if a number fingers point to you guess what you’re gone.Becareful in that sector of the creative industry, can be toxic place.
- Hi Jess, I’m a Creative Coach. If I can be of any use please let me know :-)
