Anyone know how to create a portfolio PDF but make it small enough to send. Tried reducing the image sizes but still can’t get it under 3MB

- Have you tried Adobe Acrobat's Preflight>Optimise command? It's probably one of the most comprehensive methods and it'll give you a detailed report. Just checked to give you an idea - mine is 4.9MB, but includes a couple GIFs & videos with sound, so if yours is static I can't imagine you should have trouble getting it under that. :-)
- You could export it as a interactive PDF and from the menu go to Compression and set the ppi to 150, which should be more than enough to have images viewed on a Hi-Res monitor to come out crisp.
- As suggested you could do reduce PDF online, however what is your PDF document size ? are the content images Hi-Res ?. Should be able to reduce the file compression through InDesign.
- Hi, if you are saving it from Indesign go Export > Compression and you can adjust the jpeg settings from there (try medium quality insteaf of high etc). Hope this helps!
- There are a couple of online services I use for this kind of issues:Small PDF https://smallpdf.com/compress-pdfI Love PDF https://www.ilovepdf.com/compress_pdf
- Hey. Did you try the reduce file size within Adobe Acrobat itself?
