- Hi Sophie,Some good inexpensive and free courses are with:Udemy.comhttps://intcareersch.co.uk/https://www.skillshare.com/https://www.shawacademy.com/Hope that help ;)
- Hello Sophie,I hope you are well. Develop which is a programme from The Photographers' Gallery has wonderful courses, talks. They also have bursaries I think. Here is a link: https://thephotographersgallery.org.uk/whats-on/develop-creative-careers-through-photographyPhoto Meet could be of interest too, the platform was created by photographers for photographers and their website includes brilliant articles. They organise portfolio reviewshttps://photomeet.org/Four Corners offers support and guidance to developing photographers and filmakers:https://www.fourcornersfilm.co.uk/ - they are running training and professional development programmes online at the momentSelf Publish Be Happy have online masterclasses available at very affordable prices delivered by wonderful industry leaders.https://selfpublishbehappy.com/2020/05/online-masterclasses/I hope this helps and I can't wait to see how your photography works developsAll my bestSarah
- Hi Sophie, I really recommend checking out Photofusion. They collaborate with some really exciting practitioners to run courses and workshops and provide a great sense of community so you will meet other photographers to bounce ideas off and raise each other up. https://www.photofusion.org/I believe they do lots of community outreach too which to helps to make photography accessible to everyone.
- @Sophie Megan Parnell wix and squarespace seem to be the easiest to create a website on.
- Hi Sophie how are you?I'm Denise and I have more than eight years of experience as a contemporary visual artist with an honours degree in photography: BA Degree Program in Photography, GPA: 110 cum laude, RUFA Rome University of Fine Arts. For the past few years, I’ve had the honour to be working in the UK and abroad with very well known names in the art industry with past exhibitions held in London, Leeds, Rome and Prague. I currently work for Fujifilm UK and I run private lessons also. So if you are ready to start our journey together, scroll down to find out more. My courses are for juniors, mid-level and seniors. I like to hold my courses on a weekly basis. I prefer to meet in person but I can also arrange a 1-2-1 online lesson via Zoom. Here is a list of the 1-2-1 courses that I currently run:• History of Photography • Photography • Lightroom • Photoshop • Through Modern & Contemporary ArtIf you are interested or simply have questions, send me an email or message here on The Dots xxMy email: denise.senneca.uk@gmail.com
- Creative Live, Pro Edu and youtube. Or as mentioned below... a personal 1 on 1 with photographer.Websites - squarespace/wix have templates you can adapt.
- @Sophie Megan Parnell drop me a message I’ll give you some advise!
- @Louis Lander Deacon hey thanks for your reply! Ive definitely been doing a lot of research and learning however one thing im finding really difficult is making my own photography portfolio and website.
- What kind of courses are you looking for? There is plenty of people on thedots that could teach you 1/1 over zoom ect, Id say it would be more benifical than a course if you have specific questions ect. If not, youtube will definatly help you out!
