For wedding invitations đź’Ť, would you recommend to print online or in a local print shop? I'm based in London. Any advice? đź’– Thank you

  • If you can safely access a local print shop - given there's a pandemic on - then you want to go local rather than online. Useful as online printers can be for some things (and are obviously more accessible for many who can't go to a physical shop), for something as important as wedding invitations (I'm guessing it's important to you) you want to make sure you're working through what you want and need with a human being, solving issues in realtime, rather than sitting on the phone or online with customer service if things go wrong.
  • I can recommend Printed.com too. They're very economical, and offer a range of options. I know they're not "hyper local", but it depends on what you're prioritising! There are some lovely local studios who can offer a personal service and special print finishes. However, this may be more expensive depending on your budget.
  • Going slightly against the grain here but I have designed three sets of wedding invitations (plus orders of service, save the dates, name cards, etc.) and got them all printed through Printed.com and they all came out lovely, and I had excellent support from their print team. I'd highly recommend them!
  • “Passion print” in King’s Cross. The best in the business! Fairly local depending on wheee you live… a small set up with loads of friendly staff!
