- @Ross McClure Fab - Yes it's just getting out there really and staying persistent ! Thanks for the advice :)
- @Lily Quarton-Parsons Great! If you've got a decent CV/portfolio put together with examples of the kind of work that you're written then it's just about getting your name out there and applying for things. When I started as a filmmaker it took a long time for me to get traction. And make sure it has shit hot copy (obvs!) as it's your special talent!!
- @Ross McClure Hi! I'm looking for copywriting! I've worked on copies for ebooks and marketing materials, and have had a number of articles published around dating, culture, entrepreneurship, business and music! I'll send you a connect request - drop me a message if you need any more info :)
- Hey Lily, what sort of writing work are you looking for? Scriptwriting or copywriting?Would be great to know more about your experience and what you're into!
- @Asher Harris hi! Wow thank you, what a huge list. Will check these for sure!
- @Aimée Lopez hi! Thank you for this, it's really helpful. Yep, just keeping at it!

- Yes, Rosh is correct in saying that clients on Fiverr and Upwork will try to pay you peanuts for valuable content. If you are looking for quick £££ these freelancing platforms will give you an opportunity to hone in your writing chops and develop relationships with potential long-term (retainer) clients. A lot of successful copywriters started this way. Just got to stick to your guns.
- @Rosh De Hi! This is wonderful and incredibly helpful, thank you very much :)
- This isn't exactly a writing platform, but I've had good luck with Indeed.Try searching for writing gigs that might fall under topics like content writing, content creation, copywriting, PR, content marketing and such. Also, cover letters are everything!Really infuse your personality into your writing, so that it catches the hiring team's eye.Whatever you do, do NOT resort to Upwork, Fiverr, CrowdContent or any of those. They'll pay you pennies for a lot of valuable work. Good luck! :)
