Hello. Are there any Autistic creatives who could share advice or experiences? ...
What has your experience been with freelancing as apposed to working for an employer within the industry?
Do you have any advice regarding things like networking, develop working relationships, managing time and staying motivated etc?
How do you overcome the struggles of the industry when it feels like so many of the skills needed to thrive (in the proffesional world) clash with your specific traits?
I would really appreciate any thoughts on any of these questions or on anything else :-)

- @Pip Jamieson thanks a lot for sharing!
- The amazing @James Hilton @Wayne Deakin & @Lucy Hobbs would be brilliant people to chat to re this. Oh and absolute worth heading to Lucy's brilliant ND event: https://the-dots.com/events/nd-entrepreneurs-beyond-the-workplace-4257
- @Alexandra Lunn Hi Alexandra. I'd love to see that, thank you! Just connected :)
- @Edmund Pollington no problem! thanks for commenting :)
- I'm an Autistic Artist myself, graduate as well. I know that doesn't answer your question but I would be keen to see what other people say concerning industry experience. ^_^ :)
- I'm just finalising a book celebrating Autistic Artists! There are some amazing people in there. Send me a DM if you'd like me to share the interactive version with you. Ax
- All neurodivergent input welcome too! (I feel like I have to add—I'm autistic, I personally don't mind identity-first language and words such as 'disabled'. I also respect each individual's chosen terminology.)
