  • Hi Caroline - I'd recommend Nicky Goulder, the founder of Create (search: Create arts charity) She's an amazing leader, and has built a genuinely impactful organisation that uses the power of the arts to transform the lives of marginalised and vulnerable people, of all ages.
  • Thanks a million to everyone who has replied, and do keep sending in your ideas. Some great names and organisastions. Sign up to the Social Founder Network newsletter if you have a minute, at www.socialfounder.org And if anyone is interested in volunteering to help write up profiles of social founders for the site let me know! I'm doing this in my spare time!
  • Mara Clarke, founder of Abortion Support Network, is very badass. Also Tiia Sammallahti from WhatCharity, which is a tech platform that helps to connect charities / social enterprises with corporate CSR activities.
  • Richard's list is ace. I would also add Jack Graham (founder of Year Here), Ivo Gormley (founder of GoodGym), Katee Hui (Hackney Laces), Jenny Costa (Rubies in the rubble).
  • A non-finite list: Ali Hanan @ Creative Equals, Heather Macrae @ The Ideas Foundation, Ete Davies @ Stripes, Mark Runacus @ Pride AM, Adrian Walcott & Amanda Fone @ BAME2020, Diana Tickell @ NABS, Isobel Farchy @ Creative Mentor Network, Jo Wallace @ Good Girls Eat Dinner, Emily de Groot @ Dear Adland, Jo Bostock @ The Women's Sports Trust, Ade Onilude @ Women in Marketing, Daniele Fiandaca @ Token Man, Marvyn Harrison @ Dope Black Dads. All legends in my book. Good luck. A great idea!
  • I've always loved the work that Sophie Slater and Birdsong do - sustainable fashion teamed with providing support for women and women's charities | https://the-dots.com/pages/birdsong-76967

Likewise, Gabby Edlin at Bloody Good Period are going from strength to strength tackling period poverty issues | https://the-dots.com/pages/bloody-good-period-107789
  • Hi Caroline! We put together a list of people that fit the bill for this not so long ago! You can find the list here: https://the-dots.com/projects/leaders-with-social-heart-100-creative-changemakers-248117

Hope that gives you some links and inspiration. All the best!
