Hi lovely people! Would anyone know of a location in London where there is a red phone booth?

I am looking for a classic red phone booth in London as we are to film a scene there, of a phonecall taking place in 1984. Actually it doesn't even have to be red, as long as its a classic phone booth.

  • There are a couple near the Royal Courts of Justice I just remembered...

  • Funny I was just scouting for one of these a couple of weeks back. The ones near Parliament are definitely a good shout there's a lot of them too. An issue may be the tourists, also clothing, cars and devices that may break the illusion of 1984 depending on how/when you shoot it. Great though. Alternatively, a nice slightly secluded spot is Bishop's Terrace SE11 where there is one in the corner of an old style looking road against a brick wall for a more general less landmark London residential 19th century aesthetic
  • @Inna Kostukovsky Thank you Inna, I think the Parliament one sounds like the right choice for me due to the architecture nearby, it may fit perfectly with my project.
  • @Nicole Mezzasalma Thank you for this and I think these maybe the ones I will most likely go for depending on timeframe of where we can go on the day.
  • If you can get there- the Mayfield Lavender fields in Banstead has a red phone booth in the middle of the lavender field
