Hi lovely people! Would anyone know of a location in London where there is a red phone booth?
I am looking for a classic red phone booth in London as we are to film a scene there, of a phonecall taking place in 1984. Actually it doesn't even have to be red, as long as its a classic phone booth.

- There are a couple near the Royal Courts of Justice I just remembered...https://www.google.com/maps/place/Temple+Bar+Memorial/@51.5137549,-0.1121966,19z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x487605cd54ccb6a1:0x25fd12b553a5ebfe!8m2!3d51.5137541!4d-0.1116494https://www.google.com/maps/place/53+Carey+St,+Holborn,+London+WC2A+2JB/@51.5150401,-0.1135297,19z/data=!3m1!4b1!4m5!3m4!1s0x48761b4b4abee105:0xda2c12fa2fd6bec3!8m2!3d51.5150393!4d-0.1129825

- Funny I was just scouting for one of these a couple of weeks back. The ones near Parliament are definitely a good shout there's a lot of them too. An issue may be the tourists, also clothing, cars and devices that may break the illusion of 1984 depending on how/when you shoot it. Great though. Alternatively, a nice slightly secluded spot is Bishop's Terrace SE11 where there is one in the corner of an old style looking road against a brick wall for a more general less landmark London residential 19th century aesthetic
- @Inna Kostukovsky Thank you Inna, I think the Parliament one sounds like the right choice for me due to the architecture nearby, it may fit perfectly with my project.
- @Nicole Mezzasalma Thank you for this and I think these maybe the ones I will most likely go for depending on timeframe of where we can go on the day.
- @Maudlyn Nwagwu Thank you I may check that one out!!!
- @Anita Boamah Now that sounds very cinematic - Thank you Anita
- Greenwich town centre has one!
- If you can get there- the Mayfield Lavender fields in Banstead has a red phone booth in the middle of the lavender field
- Central London has plenty - around Parliament (which tend to be full of tourists) as mentioned before, but also Carnaby Street, St Paul's Cathedral, Smithfield Market and others.
- there are many on Great George Str and Parliament street...
