How often is Sustainability part of the Graphic Design brief?

- For many print and packaging projects, it's definitely in there! Or, at least it's assumed. All clients we've ever spoken too are onboard with sustainability. If it's not in the brief, then it's our job as designers to educate!
- @Zam Faiz I reckon if it's not int he brief, then take the initiative. Especially if you can think of ways to make it so?
- @Geoffrey Bunting thank you so much but without you suggesting how often is it considered part of the brief by the client?
- @Luana D'Elias Thomas thanks and I can't agree more Luna - but before you even suggest this - is it part of the brief by default or do you need to take the initiative to suggest sustainability?
- Every time, whether the client asks for it or not. Sustainability and accessibility should always be considerations in every ethical design process.
- I think as creative designers, even if it's not on the brief it's something we should be thinking more of about and suggesting!
- @Anna Negrini Thank you so much - although this is part of a Teaching job interview I am genuinely quite concerned about what the research shows in how many of us hardly the chance to consider Sustainability within our work. Thank you so much again!
- It happened to me recently, with a project for Beauty (Sustainability & Accessibility for both packaging and website) but it's a first.
