I am looking for a Freelance Junior Designer or an intern to work in the field of branding.
STARTING DATE, DURATION & LOCATION:
Starting as soon as possible. There are several projects during the upcoming months so the amount of work will fluctuate. The work is a part-time or full time, depending on your availability and skill level. The work is charged by the hour/day. The work is done remotely.
WORK TASKS
- Graphic design Print and digital layouts, presentations, icons, production files ...
- Packaging design Layout, production files, packaging system design ...
- Website design Template-based or from scratch
- Retouching Simple product photography retouching
- Animation & moving image Simple logo animations and moving image and text for digital screens
REQUIRED SKILLS:
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator CC, Adobe Indesign CC, Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe After Effects
- Proficiency in Squarespace, Wix, Webflow and Adobe XD
- Be a good communicator and not afraid to speak up and ask if there’s something you don’t know
- Good attention to details
WHAT YOU’LL GET
- Versatile projects Studio Hellsten does everything from branding, graphic design, packaging design to illustration and photography.
- International customers The customer base consists of 50% from Finland and 50% from elsewhere. The project language is often English, so knowledge of it is essential. Knowledge of Finnish is a plus but not essential.
- Entrepreneurship You can see how a small design office is run and what are the different stages of a project
- A relaxed but demanding work environment We are nice people to work with but expect passion, commitment and attention to details
