I have recently made an Instagram for my illustrations named @chilliplanet. Does anyone have any tips on obtaining a following?
Are there any graphic design based Instagram pages; such as by @itsnicethat I should follow that provides any oppurtunities to get my illustrations out there?

- Hi Gaea, that's Marcello from G-Design an italian creative agency with a wide tasks background from architecture to publishing; your illustration is really interesting as style! I think the best way to promote you on instagram is to find some verified profile about art and illustration (probably small or mid gallery) and propose them yourself just for a shout-out and then according with them about some kinds of colalboration!
- There are two things that I'm going to recommend: when posting use up to 15 hashtags that have been used 50,000-400,000 times and follow the followers of an account called thevjaya (you can unfollow these people after seeing the instant growth and after a while follow them again).
- Hashtags will be your best friend in terms of gaining reach! Look for people doing similar work to you and find out what hashtags they’re using!Other than that reach out to people, comment, make genuine connections with people, post stories and be as regular at posting as you can! Also, thinking about what you’re writing in your caption can really help to engage people too. If it’s interesting, authentic, relatable or creates discussion then you’ll engage people!It’s always hardest to gain followers at the start but remember that your number of followers does not define you or your work!Hope this helps! ✨
