- Thanks for these great responses guys. I’ve just been listing generic skills info instead of representing who I am as an individual and what my values are. I forget that you don’t only hire a designer, but a person, and it’s best you know a bit about them on a human level before you decide if you’d like to work with them. Will be making some immediate improvements!
- For me I always screen for values fit first :-)
- I have a strict no assholes policy. Trying to ascertain the candidates positivity and ability to collaborate with a team is just as important, if not more so, than their standard of work.
