Is anyone willing to offer advice on developing a magazine?
I'm developing my men's mental health website into a quarterly magazine (digital, definitely, but hopefully with a print-run).
I'm collating a detailed cost-up/business plan, and I wonder what advice or experience anyone could offer to help?

- In terms of digital magazine I am not as familiar but if you are looking at print magazines you can check out the book: So You Want to Publish a Magazine? published by Laurence King and written by Angharad Lewis former editor of Grafik magazine. She covers various case studies and magazine set ups including the financial aspect.https://www.laurenceking.com/us/product/so-you-want-to-publish-a-magazine/I also recommend you check out Mag Culture founded by Jeremy Leslie. https://magculture.com. If you are in London they do regular talks and have an online podcast which might be quite helpful.
- Alan Rutter might well be your man. What he doesn't know about magazines…!https://the-dots.com/users/alan-rutter-73063Also, have you been in touch with Kevin Braddock of Torchlight Systems? you might be able to collaborate.
- There’s this amazing book by Angharad Lewis called ‘So You Want to Publish a Magazine?’ that has interviews and insight from Industry experts, Editors and Creative Directors which really helped me while I was creating my magazine for my Final Major at uni. Covers pretty much everything involved in creating a magazine! Hope this helps ☺️✌
