What are your favourite resources for high quality mockups?

Whether they’re free or paid for, what are your go-to resources that you use for your mockups?

  • I use some from Adobe stock (there are free ones and paid for ones) as well as those from Free Design ressources (mixed bag here, some are coll, some are meh...) but most of all, I tend to make my own. Either from photos found on Unsplash or else where, or from Istock or Adobe stock again... For simple images where the lighting is simple (One way natural light from an invisible window for example) simply pasting the image on the surface in multiply mode in PS and a few drop shadows, grain addition and such simple amends are generally good enough (same with screen mock ups).
If it's more complex, I might use Dimension and match the lighting of the image to my scene, and possibily do the last tweaks in Photoshop (That is a bit more complex, so I usually do that for clients). I found that it was a good way to have scenes that are completely yours and not seen elsewhere...
thanks to @tinawebster for suggesting moyo studio... Great stuff there!
  • Hi,

I’ve been using Mayo Studio’s amazing mock-ups for my website to showcase my work. You can find them here https://www.moyo-studio.com

They have a real range of mock-ups and the quality is fantastic! They compliment my work well as they are very neutral.

They are paid for but well worth it (I think)

    I’ve also used:
    Creative Market
    Pixeden

    Hope they help!
