Join us online to explore the work of young creatives with workshops, artist's talks and music
Tate Collective Producers present a streamed version of Late at Tate Britain that explores identity, activism and how young creatives have responded to lockdown.

There will be two streams on this page on the night, running from 19.00 – 21.00 BST:

  • Stream 1 is a mix of artist talks and workshops
  • Stream 2 is music from Reprezent Radio

If you want to see any content you missed on either stream, both streams will be available until Friday 21 August.

STREAM 1: TALKS & WORKSHOPS

19.00 – Introduction from Tate Collective Producers

19.05 – ERIC: Know Yourself (Confidence is King) Introduction

ERIC introduce their session on how to kickstart your career by getting to know your deepest self. Get ready for the workshop by checking out the worksheet!

19.10 – Soof Introduces: Simone Niles

The first of three convos with Soofiya and a young creative talking about how they're making and doing in lockdown. First up, Soofiya speaks to creative Simone Niles. Hear about making art when you're a one-person band in quarantine. From completing final projects or personal work, find out how Simone makes it all happen.

19.20 – HERVISIONS X Huntrezz

Learn how to make an Instagram face filter with new media artist Huntrezz, invited by femme-focused digital platform HERVISIONS. Explore moving image works and augmented reality art. Considering how power, reality and identity can be re-imagined through digital media, Huntrezz will discuss ways to engage with activism through creative practice.

19.30 – Soof Introduces: Lloyd Wood

In this chat, Soofiya catches up with graphic designer Lloyd Wood and gets the behind the scenes insight into how they create their powerful and playful work.

19.40 – ERIC: Know Yourself (Confidence is King) Workshop

ERIC lead a workshop on how you can use self-awareness to craft your career and steadily increase your confidence with potential employers. Can you identify your positive and negative traits? Which personalities do you work best with? Where are you most productive? Answer these and make yourself more hirable.

19.50 – Soof Introduces: Paul Ifeneziuche

In the last session with Soofiya, they speak to creative Paul Ifeneziuche about how to make a lot from a little with whatever resources you have! Be inspired on how to turn your bedroom or living room into a photography or design studio.

STREAM 2: MUSIC

20.00 – Reprezent Radio: The voice of young London

Reprezent Radio, the voice of young London, curate a playlist for the evening with visuals from digital artist Antonio Roberts streamed live on Mixcloud.
