What is the project about?
Our screen talks and networking sessions are about bringing like-minded creatives together in a safe space to learn and connect through discussion!
In celebration of international women’s day, we’ll be kicking off with talks from women filmmakers who will be sharing insights from their personal journeys within the creative industry, their accomplishments and how they dealt with conflicts along the way. The talks will be followed by a Q&A and networking session. Here, the attendees will get the chance to interact with the guests and each other.
Who will be teaching the project?
Co-hosted by the Roundhouse and Fully Focused Productions. Fully Focused is a youth-led production company making award-winning, high-impact film, TV and online content. An organisation with a social focus, every commission to Fully Focused enables young people to gain valuable experience, paid employment and transferable skills whilst simultaneously injecting every brief with an authentic youth voice.
Fully Focused have also founded Million Youth Media, a platform for young film creators and the MYM Academy that helps young people to gain the skills, knowledge and confidence they need to pursue a career in film.
