Many of us are navigating lives filled with constant movement, working long hours (hoping to 'secure the bag') moving from one space to the next, rarely pausing to check-in; as a result moments of being completely present are far and few in between...
Exploration of Tarot belongs to the workshop series; The Art of Being Present. This is a workshop exploring the various ways of being completely present and in the moment. During this workshop, you will exercise mindfulness and the importance of listening to your intuition, with the aid of Tarot cards. The Tarot is a divinatory system which has been used for centuries as a means of gaining clarity, tapping into the subconscious and ultimately connecting you to your inner truth. The second half of the session offers an opportunity for artistic expression, allowing you to express and connect with the energy of play in adulthood, an energy that we all too often suppress.

What should I wear?
Come as you feel comfortable, we will be seated on cushions.
Do I need to bring anything?
All materials needed for the workshop will be provided.
What time does the workshop actually begin?
It is advised to arrive 5 minutes before the workshop begins. We start at 6:30 pm sharp.
What if I happen to arrive late, can I still join?
Unfortunately, latecomers will not be able to enter for the first half-hour of the workshop to ensure no disruption to our meditation session. If you arrive after 6:30 pm and would still like to attend please wait in the bar area and we will come and meet you at around 7:00 pm.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes, you can ride the lift up to the 12th floor.
About the speaker
Suhaiyla Shakuwra is a Bespoke Jewellery Designer, Tarot and wellness Practitioner based in London.
Suhaiyla has hosted her wellness workshop series; The Art of Being Present in collaboration with various brands such as Elle, gal-dem and Samsung UK. She has created a safe space for the discussion pertaining all things Mystical and Magickal and for tarot sessions at events for a range of partner brands including; Clio Peppiatt, Isle of Paradise, WAH Nails Soho, Beautystack, The Hoxton Hotel and CND Nails.
