WIRED Health:Tech focuses on the technology driving the future of patient care
Following the success of the WIRED Health conference series over the last seven years, this one-day virtual conference is a special deep-dive into health-related technology taking place this September.
WIRED Health: Tech is designed to cover some of the most compelling technological advances driving the future of patient care. This virtual conference will gather ten fascinating disruptors in health, medicine and science to explore the technology, innovation and trends that are set to change how we interact with and provide care for patients. These discussions come at a pivotal time for the industry, as the recent and tremendous impact of COVID-19 has accelerated the need for smarter supply chains, remote friendly surgical systems and self-tracking software.

What is different and/or new for 2020 WIRED Events?
The WIRED team have thought long and hard about the best way to translate our incredibly dynamic and awe-inspiring in-person events into a virtual experience. Although running virtually translates into many benefits for our attendees, there are some critical differences:
_Accessible and virtual: We are charging only nominal fees for the most basic access to all of the conference content. This offers our attendees around the world the benefit of cutting all travel and accomodation costs, and allow them the freedom to enjoy the content in the comfort of their home or office.
_Punchy, dynamic content: We know that you're busy, so we have designed the programme to run as punchy 15-minute sessions – in the morning and afternoon, for one day.
_Optional upgrades for networking: We've listened to your feedback, and understand that networking, brainstorming and speaking with peers is a key reason to attend events. That's why we added in a few additional – optional – upgrades that give you access to 1-to-1 chats with other attendees, and a choice of both roundtable and workshop, moderated by the WIRED team. This is a fantastic way to get into the active WIRED community of influencers, startups / scaleup founders, investors and technologists – and hopefully, a way to keep us connected during these unprecedented times.
