Join us for a two-day workshop, devised by artists Nikhil Vettukattil with Atiéna R. Kilfa.

About this event
Join us for a two-day workshop, devised by artists Nikhil Vettukattil with Atiéna R. Kilfa, to investigate cinematic properties, limits, and possibilities for experimentation with scenes derived from cinematic works. Participants will analyse, deconstruct, and reconstitute elements of existing scenes for the camera, exploring alternative ways of staging narrative, framing and sound.
The workshop aims to reflect on the film crew as a social form and the generative potential of scenes independent of plot, development and conclusivity. This will also be a space for exchanging knowledge about different technical aspects of filmmaking and performance.
Additional Information
This workshop is suitable for ages 16 and over.
Evidence of concessionary status must be shown on the first day of the course.
The building is fully wheelchair accessible. Please visit our access page on our website for more information on getting here, parking and facilities.
Bookings are non-refundable, unless the event is cancelled by the Centre.
