The Role
An exciting position has become available to work as the Commercial Operations Strategy Manager for the Home vertical of Condé Nast. This is a 10 month fixed term position.
The Home category is looking for a personable, resourceful, and confident candidate who is extremely well organised, able to multitask and to stay calm under pressure. Must be proficient in Excel, Google Workspace/Drive apps.
The successful candidate will lead on reporting across all platforms to help identify and secure revenue opportunities for the Home and Advertising Sales team. A keen interest in interior design and decoration, communications, and marketing is preferable.
What will you be doing?
  • Reporting digital, video, print, events and client revenue to Head of Industry and Senior Management, with a dotted line into the Lead Commercial Operations Strategist
  • Continuous revenue analysis, identifying key opportunities and gaps across all platforms
  • Update and maintain all sales pipelines
  • Open to continuous learning and adapting to cross-platform business changes as the company evolves and requires change
  • Work together with other Commercial Operations Strategy Manager’s to help drive the company's efforts towards a digital first, cross-category business
  • Support other COSMs across divisions during holiday, sickness periods or for elevated pieces of work, as defined by lead COS
  • Driving the commercial sales team to hit targets, through continuous compilation of competitor analysis and assisting with anything needed to pitch business to clients and agencies
  • Flat-plan management for core titles print editions and supplements
  • Work closely with Editorial teams, liaising on upcoming editorial themes and stories and sponsored supplements liaison across digital, video, print and events
  • Maintain strong relationships with the Production department, liaising on all production elements for print edition and other printed commercial projects
  • Ensure all revenue is being accounted for accurately each month, by chasing for all orders/revenue to be committed by the end of the month.
