The A Side: A Day in The Life
UMUK value e-Commerce as a key foundational channel to connect artists and fans. This is a fast paced role supporting our ecommerce product managers and our broader merchandise product strategy. You will be principal admin support to help with merchandise creative admin tasks across our central and frontline labels.
The B Side: Skills & Experience
  • Support the Senior Creative Manager in all merchandise design and creative projects for labels and central teams.
  • Manage creative & graphic designer database, working with Ecommerce product managers to collect briefs for designs and liaise and set up merchandise design projects with internal and external designers.
  • Work closely across designers, creative and merchandise suppliers to deliver design briefs.
  • Ad hoc graphic design or artworking and creating comps of merchandise items.
  • Dealing with merchandise graphic design approvals and sending over relevant feedback and deal with all queries across the creative department from eCommerce Product Managers, D2C team and label leads
  • Manage invoicing process and support production managers on any supplier and PO queries.
  • Help to support the creative studio, booking in shoots and co-ordinating product.
  • Management of product images database with EPMs post creative shoots.
  • Source products with suppliers, confirming MOQ, costings and lead-times. Manage invoice iniation.
  • Manage studio booking for photo shoots for product.
  • Where required, book and track courier shipments from suppliers and creating manual orders.
  • Sample management and approval - Support the print production workflow to include estimating, arranging visuals for approval, pre-production sampling if required, including delivery of print files to printer, oversee production and ensure timely delivery to warehouse.
  • Manage presentation templates for artists, labels and ecomm team. Support the creative manager with Market and trend research for industry & product.
  • Organise sharepoint creative / print file archive for creative team.
Person Specification
  • Experience working for creative design studio in the music merchandise / or apparel space with a sound understanding of creative design and development and working knowledge of product development and production processes.
  • Strong knowledge of fasion and streetwear trends as it relates to music merchandise.
  • Previous experience of working within the Music Tour / Merchandise company working in graphic design.
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment lead by critical delivery dates.
  • Experience of managing creative / graphic design briefs and costs. Ad hoc raising of invoices.
  • Experience of putting together merchandise presenters and line sheets for approval.
  • Strong administration skills with good Excel knowledge required for preparing estimates.
  • Methodical work ethic with ability to follow creative / design process flows.
  • Highly organised with ability to project manage print job from approval of initial visual through to printed product to warehouse.
  • Ability to liaise with third parties, initiate and fulfil initiatives in a proactive manner.
  • Adobe Suite (InDesign / Photoshop) and basic HTML skills and plus.
  • Experience of working in cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion with an ability to react quickly and calmly to changing artist & label needs and deadlines
  • PM tools – preferably Monday.com. ERP and DAM knowledge a bonus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
