The individual will manage and develop the implementation of the UK marketing strategy within the context of our global activities to deliver successful outcomes based on a yearly business planning cycle. They will build an innovative and credible plan across players, events, and the Red Bull Gaming Sphere facility. The manager will work with the Gaming and Esports colleagues in the UK team, often acting as a central point of contact, working closely with our communications, content, and social media teams to earn coverage through third-party media and social channels, as well as create content and drive reach through Red Bull’s owned and managed media channels.
Previous experience working in an esports or gaming marketing role, with a focus on project management, marketing strategy, event production, talent management, and community building.
An understanding of the UK gaming environment and where Red Bull can be a part of it.
Experience in developing and implementing marketing activities to make an impact on brand awareness, brand preference, and product purchase/consumption.
Deep knowledge of and passion for live events, marketing, and media.
Scene-connected – knows the esports and gaming landscape in the UK and has a strong network.
An understanding of brands and how they operate.
Excellent relationship-building skills and calm under pressure.
