POSITION
POSITION: Event Assistant Manager
DEPARTMENT: Management
LOCATION: London
REPORTS TO: Events Manager & Executive Assistant to General Manager
PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Event Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team specialising in luxury brand experiences for DIOR & LVMH Beauty. The ideal candidate will have a passion for creating unforgettable client experiences, a background in managing VIP events for both internal and external stakeholders, and expertise within the luxury sector.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver Off-Counter Retailer Events:
  • Plan, manage and execute unique experiences to recruit, retain and reward Dior clients through exceptional events with a focus on driving retail.
Execute VIP (VIC) Events:
  • Deliver exclusive events for VIP clients ensuring brand elevation through extraordinary experiences.
Organise Internal and External Retailer Meetings:
  • Plan and oversee all logistical aspects of retailer meetings ensuring a seamless execution in line with Dior’s brand image.
Plan Brand Celebrations:
  • Organise internal celebratory events for the wider Dior team
Support DIOR & LVMH Beauty Events:
  • Assist the Event Manager with their planning and execution of brand events across DIOR & LVMH Beauty.

PERSON SPECIFICATION:
What you need to have:
  • Strong organisational and management skills.
  • Proven ability to problem solve and propose multiple solutions.
  • Self-starter attitude with an aptitude for working independently as well as collaboratively.
  • Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while working calmly under pressure.
  • Skilful planning and execution of complex projects with many moving parts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Experience in creating budgets with a track record of adhering to them.
  • Meticulous attention to detail coupled with thoroughness in task completion.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion at all times.
To be considered for this role, applicants must have:
  • A deep-seated curiosity about client experience enhancement.
  • Solid experience in running and managing client/VIP events within the luxury sector.
