In this role, you’ll be responsible for positioning Starling to our existing and potential customers, you’ll be excited about distinguishing our brand from competitors and ultimately propelling growth. You’ll focus and work with both internal and external creative partners to deliver impactful and consistent communications across channels.
You’ll be passionate about brand positioning and strategy and enthusiastic about making people feel excited about money management (it’s not always easy, and if you’re right for this role, you’ll think that sounds like an interesting challenge!).
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities:
Lead the collation, analysis and consistent communication of research and Insights, working with the various teams across the business. Understand, track and share the state of the brand, the audience and position ongoing.
Using input from brand, media, social and comms, develop a comprehensive brand strategy and strategic platform that aligns with the company’s goals and help pull that brand strategy through the company across all channels and touchpoints.
Author creative briefs and partner with internal and external creative teams to keep creative development on brief.
Champion stand out, impactful and consistent marketing communications.
Together with the channel owner, develop a sharp social strategy, anchored in our strategic platform and consult on the editorial plan for social platforms.
Develop talent guidelines that support the brand.
Support the SME group with an evolved business focused strategy and guide communications for this group.
Evolve brand architecture across the company, working with the Brand Marketing leads across their individual
Experience in leading a similar team in a fast-growing organisation
A proven track record in delivering an effective brand strategy and strategic platform that produces tangible results and change
Experience crafting sharp, exciting creative briefs and building creative strategy, with a deep understanding of what creative teams need to make great work.
Proven track record in building strong foundations for campaign development, translating marketing briefs and finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
A motivation for working collaboratively with a variety of teams to achieve success for the firm overall, with excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills
The ability to manage a varied workload, with flexibility in times of ambiguity and conflicting deadlines
A proactive, ‘can do’ attitude, quick learner and can handle multiple tasks at once
Confident communicator and can turn a challenging situation around
Inquisitive and analytical mind is key
