Would you like to be part of the world’s biggest publisher, working to promote our brands and authors to customers and consumers across the world?
We have an exciting opportunity to join the international communications team as an International Communications Assistant on a full time, permanent basis.
We are looking for a creative and proactive team player with excellent time management and organisation skills to join our team and work across Penguin Random House UK’s outstanding list of titles.  Your work will help keep our small, but very busy, team running by providing administrative support to all members.
You will be responsible for planning and delivering our online communications to retail customers and consumers worldwide, showcasing our very best new titles across PRH UK. You will manage and create many of the department’s key selling materials, including our regular International Highlights catalogues and presentations for important sales periods, like the London and Frankfurt book fairs.
You will also be responsible for updating and maintaining the International Trade Portal, our bespoke business website where international retailers can find out more about our books, as well as managing both physical and digital early reading copies of our titles for our customers.
What you’ll bring to the role:
With a keen love of books, you will enjoy writing copy and thinking creatively. You will be an excellent communicator with great attention to detail, and someone who thrives in a fast-moving, ever-changing environment.
You’ll have efficient time management skills and be able to juggle multiple priorities at once. Previous experience in using Adobe design software is desirable, as well as an interest in book publishing and marketing around the world.
About Penguin:
We’re the UK’s largest publisher; made up of some 2,000 people and publishing over 1,500 books each year. Our doors are open to all kinds of talent. In a constantly evolving industry, we work hard to stretch the definition of the word publisher. Here, you’ll work with a breadth of talent who all play their part to make each of our books a success. Together, we make books for everyone because a book can change anyone.
