About the role
As part of the Ebury Communications team and our Food Hub, you’ll help take our books to new audiences, working closely with authors, agents, editors, publicity, sales and international to deliver engaging and joined-up marketing activity.
Day to day, you’ll liaise with authors as well as our Sales, Editorial and Design teams to create stand out marketing campaigns that generate social media buzz, word of mouth excitement, pre-orders and book sales. Our Communications team’s main role is to connect our books, brands and authors to the right audience, you’ll reflect this in your ideas, strategy, plan and campaign content. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn and develop marketing skills. You’ll create promotional materials and execute digital-first campaigns.
What you’ll bring
You’ll manage your own campaigns and also assist Campaign Managers and the Head of Campaigns, so we’re looking for someone really enthusiastic with plenty of ideas. Additionally, we are looking for someone who can thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple deadlines, and prioritise with confidence. An understanding of social media and how to reach different audiences is key, as is a passion for all things food!
You will be an organised, flexible team player and have good communication skills to present ideas and feedback on team projects. You’ll be creating target-driven marketing campaigns and build relationships with influencers and brands.
This role will suit someone with publishing, broadcast, start-up, marketing or social media agency experience, however, we welcome applicants from any sector with the relevant skills - if you have a passion for food and an understanding of marketing, we want to hear from you.

Salary: From £30,500 plus bonus and benefits.

Hybrid working:  For this role, there are meetings and activities that you will need to attend in person at our offices in Vauxhall Bridge Road through the week.  The exact balance of office to remote working will depend on the nature of your role and team needs, and we are open to discussing this through the recruitment process. Please note that over the course of 2024 all of our London-based teams will permanently relocate to our Embassy Gardens office in Nine Elms.
