The Role
The Mx Manager is a key role within the team, focused on supporting the MX Associate Director and MX Executive to ensure the client has the optimal media support in place. Working alongside your Mx Associate Director the role focuses on media planning and activation, ensuring you are helping delivery the strategy and driving Media Experience (Mx) for your clients.
This role is to work on Starbucks (Retail) & Animal Friends (Insurance)

To deliver best in class, innovative media strategy, planning & buying. Our work is focused on nurturing brand metrics, support seasonal campaigns and continuing to grow the Starbucks loyalty program in the UK. With a particular planning focus on Gen-Z, Havas have successfully developed & deployed Award Winning Outdoor, Paid Social & Audio strategies for Starbucks UK campaigns. 2025/2026 planning currently also presents exciting opportunities for our work to expand into Video & Partnerships strategies.
To contribute towards the coordination of the UK integrated agency team (Creative Agency, PR, In-store & Experiential) ensuring strong collaboration & integration for more meaningful & effective campaigns. We are responsible for ensuring seamless Ways of Working for wider agency stakeholders, deployment of this process and facilitating best in class integration of campaigns across all comms touchpoints for the client.
Measurement projects & strategic consult. Havas has played an integral role for this client in providing wider strategic communications guidance & support. On top of this, Havas also conduct ongoing measurement projects including Brand Tracking, Campaign Tracking and Econometrics modelling for Starbucks in this market which feeds into all integrated agency thinking.
About Animal Friends: Animal Friends are a new client win for Havas Media Network. Multi-award winning, Animal Friends offer affordable pet insurance that is created to support animal welfare.
Trusted to insure over 1 million dogs, cats, and horses, for over 25 years’, Animal Friends have been dedicated to providing UK owners with unique pet insurance cover and are now expanding their UK operation.
Our role and responsibilities within Havas Media Network is to help the brand transition from being a primarily performance focus advertiser, to a brand that utilising upper funnel advertising tactics to help target new and emerging customer cohorts via ATL channels (AV, including TV, BVOD, Audio etc).
Your role will be to work together with the MX Associate Director and leadership team to run the day-to-day operations of the accounts including providing excellent campaign planning & implementation, developing strategic insights & thinking, helping leading client & agency stakeholder comms & process, campaign reporting, finance management, managing client ADHOC requests and helping to develop the skills & knowledge of the MX Account Executive.

For your team, you will be critical in making sure your client’s business’s and, your team around you are supported taking an active role in delivering against:

  • Enabling the development of junior reports, and working with a Director to produce development plans for more junior members of the team, ensuring they have opportunities to learn all the expected disciplines

Role Competencies:
The successful candidate will be able to deliver upon the following:
  • Owning day-to-day relationships with key media owners and clients
  • Able to effectively communicate results, tests and day-to-day optimisations with internal and external teams
  • Responsible for billing accuracy and timeliness and lead the financial booking and reconciliation process for campaign on their clients
  • Works with a Director to develop incremental business proposals in line with wider agency priorities
  • Can identify and understand relevant commercial terms, processes, and concepts to deliver agreed outcomes
  • Is able to identify and define target audiences built out from relevant tools on who the target audience should be and cites previous work to support their ideas.
  • Has a clear understanding of the steps within Havas Planning process and support the delivery of the overall strategy
  • Become efficient in using relevant industry tool, for example, Telmar, Touchpoints, Ad Intel, Mediaplanner, YouGov
  • Able to create channel briefs with support
