The Role
We are looking for a skilled interpretation specialist to join the Interpretation team as Senior Interpretation Producer for a maternity cover post. The role develops and delivers audience-centred interpretation schemes that are meaningful, relevant and inspiring for the V&A’s diverse audiences. The post holder will be responsible for leading the interpretation for specific projects (to be allocated on appointment) and supporting the day-to-day work of the team with guidance and direct supervision of 3–5 line reports, working alongside the Senior Interpretation Editor to assist the Head of Interpretation with the management and strategic leadership of the team. This is an exciting and broad role which will encompass varied interpretive work with strategic thinking. The successful candidate will be able to think both creatively and critically, have a proactive nature with strong organisational skills, and an understanding of how to manage people and projects to deliver interpretation that meets the vision of the V&A to champion design and creativity in all its forms, for everyone.
