Do you want to join the Tech department with one of the world’s best news organisations?
As a Technology Project Management Graduate, you will be given the opportunity to learn multiple skills by working with four different teams within the Technology department. Working with the Strategic Programmes team you will cover project planning and reporting, creating timelines and schedules, coordinating tasks and resources, have a full understanding of the different roles and responsibilities required for each project and learn how to communicate effectively with stakeholders from different levels of the business. During your time with the Martech team you will learn about all the different marketing assets we have on our website and app and the subscriber journeys and will assist in updating and revamping these assets. With the Web team you will work alongside a Delivery Manager, learning about resourcing, the velocity of tasks and planning a team's workload. With the IT team you will work on a real life internal IT project to enhance internal applications with the Telegraph.
Previous project examples include:
Telegraph Wine Cellar. The purpose of this project was to create a subscription wine business and this included sourcing a wine partner, creating a new ecommerce website, creating a new subscription product and working with our editorial wine experts on the range.
Puzzles. The purpose of this project was to create a standalone Puzzles subscription product with the aim of attracting new puzzle-loving audiences to the Telegraph.This included finding a tech partner to create the website and app, working with our editorial puzzles specialists to create new puzzles and reimagine our print puzzles for web/app and marketing for this new product.
Expansion into new markets
Chelsea Magazine Company: The purpose of this project was to integrate the Chelsea Magazine Company into Telegraph Media Group after the successful acquisition in 2023. This included onboarding the new staff, coordinating an office move, transitioning CMC onto the TMG systems and working out how to cross-sell Telegraph and Chelsea Magazine subscriptions.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills
Ability to work in a complex, fast paced, rapidly changing environment
Willingness to adapt approach based on the needs of the business

The assessment centres will be conducted on 21 March 2025 and you may be invited to complete pre-assessments beforehand. The successful candidates will join the team in September, 2025.
