Hi, we’re Virginutty, a coconut oil skincare and wellness brand based in London. We aim to empower the minority and to empower the coconut. We create natural, raw, vegan, pure-enough-to-eat skincare based on Philippine coconut oil that nourishes your body from head to toes. Our British-Filipino founder, Melissa, first fell in love with coconut oil whilst exploring her roots in the Philippines. Fed up of carcinogenic ingredients and whitening chemicals in drugstore skincare products, she became determined to develop an honest, natural skincare solution that would honour her roots and be effective for people with sensitive skin. Melissa travelled around the Philippine islands to find the very best coconuts and decided she needed to share the archipelago's skincare secret with Europe. The rest, as they say, is coconut oil. Virginutty works with Filipino, Southeast Asian and ethnic minority models with island cultural heritages to celebrate the native roots of the coconut. @virginutty
